The Sahara Desert is known for being the largest desert in Africa. The Sahara accounts for nearly 10% of the entire African continent. The desert gives travellers the freedom to experience things, they wouldn’t normally receive with other holidays. Many tourists take a ride on the many Camels available to rent. Due to the climate in the desert, only round 500 species of plant life exist, but different species of animals also do exist. When travelling the Sahara, its important to careful, due to animals such as the sand viper, lurking within the sand. Many tourists journey to the Sahara, seeking a romantic vacation. There are many reasons, but one of the main reasons, is to take full advantage of the sunset. The spectacular location of the Sahara, means its one of the best places in the world, to gaze at the sunset over the golden sands. The iconic golden sands mould to the shape of your feet, giving you a delicate walk along the dunes of Africa. The dunes will certainly catch your imagination, as they are ever changing. Due to the rare rainfall and the ever changing winds, the dunes are constantly flowing alternative ways, designing its own landscapes. There a groups of Nomads which have braved the conditions of the Sahara desert for centuries, though the numbers are few, they have adapted to the life without the needs of our lives. They have accommodated themselves to hunting and making trips to the nearest marketplaces to trade their own created goods.
