3 Reasons to Holiday in Costa Adeje
Tenerife is the largest of the Canary Islands, and it certainly has a character to match. Big, bubbly and beautiful, this sun-baked corner of the world is the place to be for cracking beaches, well-equipped resorts and a generally great time.
Everyone’s got their favourite place but one Tenerife resort, Costa Adeje, is a real stunner. Here’s why:
1. Location, Location, Location
Costa Adeje is located on Tenerife’s southwest coast, a few short kilometres from the lively nightspot of Playa de las Americas – just far enough away from the hustle and bustle yet close enough for a taxi ride into the resort, should you fancy a big night out. Costa Adeje is also close to the TF-1, a coastal motorway, which gives you easy access to other parts of the island should you hire a car.
2. Style & Chic
Costa Adeje is a new and modern resort. It’s pretty upmarket, and you’re likely to find plenty of four and five-star hotels in this corner of the island, along with some chic bars and restaurants and the odd celebrity haunt. You may still find the odd joint serving pie and chips, but much of the resort is given over to fabulous restaurants serving top-notch cuisine and impressive creations.
3. Beautiful Beaches
Costa Adeje boasts a superb beach, El Duque, which offers some gorgeous soft silky sands and a great selection of watersports, such as windsurfing, sailing, water-skiing and parascending. The beaches here generally have a good range of facilities, ideal for a refreshing drink or bite to eat during the day, and families will appreciate the normally calm waters of Playa Fanabe beach, just around the headland.
These are just three of a long list of reasons why Costa Adeje is a cracking resort for a Tenerife holiday. What’s your take?
